THE BEST DIET EVER!
I figured this would grab your attention.
Catchy title, a picture of brownies, please tell me more Mr. fitness guru. Well first off, stop with the compliments, you're making me blush. Second, give me a minute. I know It's a bloggy blog world but I am not "one with the computer" so it's going to take me a minute to find my typing mojo.
Let's get down to business. The reason you clicked on this page in the first place, the BEST DIET EVER! Um, it doesn't exist. It never has and it never will. I'm sorry to disappoint you on blog numero uno but it is the undeniable truth. What works for me may not work for you. You can't eat Rich Froning's diet or what Michael Phelps had for breakfast or what Hugh Jackman ate to get ripped for his eleventeenth Wolverine role. Our bodies are too unique, too different. But here's what you CAN do.
Eat the food, real food! Greatly decrease the amount of processed food in your diet. Stop consuming quest bars on the daily and quit polishing off a pint of Halo Top nightly. If it walks like a duck, and talks like a duck, then it's a duck! Point? You can't add protein to a candy bar or ice cream and call it health food. They also break one my biggest rules: If you can unwrap it and eat it then you probably shouldn't.(exception: bananas) Are they O.K. sometimes? Sure, but they should not be a mainstay in the daily grind. The best diets contain real, whole, minimally processed foods day in and day out. That's the easy answer. How much food? When should I eat this food that you speak of? Well, that's the part that is a little trickier. That's the part that isn't one size fits all. That's the part where you need..... me! Send me an email from the contact us page and get on the presale list for the first group of emom'ers coming up soon. For now, put some protein on your plate and something green, purple, orange,(vegetables, you dig?) with a little olive or coconut oil about 4 times a day. Save the bars for a rainy day not everyday.
